Swaha is a graduate in Architecture and is
presently in doing her Master’s in Information Technology in
Building Science with specialization in Building Automation
from IIIT, Hyderabad. IT in Building Science is all about
combining traditional materials with advanced methods, using
computer aided techniques for intelligent controls, meeting
stiff design targets, and ensuring excellent performance of
the building over its entire lifecycle, taking into
consideration factors like wind, noise, solar energy,
pollutants and occupancy. She has also developed his
proficiency in various modeling and simulation tools such as
RADIANCE, ENERGY PLUS, CATIA, 3DMAX, AutoCAD, REVIT .

Fuzzy Logic Based Water Level
Controller : This water level controller makes use of Fuzzy
logic to maintain the level of water in an overhead tank. This is
achieved by the use of Data Acquisition card to Acquire data from
the sensor placed in the water tank and accordingly based on the
calculations using fuzzy logic, helps to maintain the level of water
in the tank, the valve is controlled by means of a stepper motor.

Climatic Design Database for Buildings : This is a
database for energy efficient buildings situated in different
climatic zones which will provide appropriate design guidelines in
accordance with the climatic data given by the architect. A tool to
help Architects choose optimum layouts in order to create energy
efficient buildings in accordance with the location of the site in

Database for Sugar Industry : The
database is created for a sugar industry using Unix Shell
programming. Which not only keep track of the industry but also
maintains the employee structure along with necessary updating of

Validation of Radiance : The project is aimed at
validating the Radiance software. To achieve this real time
measurements are compared with images generated by Radiance
software. Real time measurements has been taken by LUX METER. For
this purpose, the experiment has been performed in the interior

Automatic Door opening system using Caller
Identification : This project uses the technology of
caller identification system to identify a person and provide access
to him. The user just has to send an sms giving his id to the number
associated and accordingly he may or may not be provided access to
the place after verification of the number the call has come
from. |

Disaster Rehabilitation Project, Govt.
of Orissa : Worked on disaster rehabilitation project for
Government of Orissa. This involved comprehensive study of the
village destroyed by fire, proposals for immediate action through
the development of available infrastructure and socio-economic
condions as well. The given proposal has implemented as the first
aid for the affected people in addition to that all the future
proposals has taken in to consideration. Here the socio-economic
conditions, building material, construction pattern of that
particular area are the key factors. Operating environments :
