Qualifications --- BE (Civil)

Institute Duration %
Kolhapur’s Institute of Technology and College of Engineering (Shivaji University) June 1995 - June 1999 70.77%

Projects and Seminars

  • Study of Flyovers (project - final year) : Project deals with types of Grade separations, Interchanges, Components of flyover bridge and general structural requirements.

  • Cold Storage plant: Case study of 2 cold storages, project includes criteria for site selection, planning of cold storage, list of units to be provided, operation cycle and machine details, design of slabs, beam, columns, capacity of cold storage.

  • Managerial and Civil activities at the battlefield: Emphasis given on the role of civil engineers in an Army which included maintenance of or restoring of mobility of own troops on the battle field and denying the mobility or restricting mobility of enemy and above all an important feature being that of capable improvising and executing material as far as possible.

  • Vermiculture (final year): Today in this fast developing world where industries are said to be a measure of country’s progress, the effluent or the waste let out by them which cause pollution is raising new problems day by day. Hence it becomes obligatory to handle this waste in such a way that it gives maximum benefits without disturbing the environment. One of the alternatives to effective environmental management is the utilization of diverse waste as valuable substrates for bio-processing them into the value added end products such as food, fertilizer, fuel, water, etc…. Among the variety of bioprocessing techniques, the VERMICULTURE BIOTECHNOLGY has been reported to be an effective technique for bioprocessing a wide variety of organic wastes.
